Industry experts will join Daikin and H&V News editor Andrew Gaved next week to look at how ventilation can be used to improve occupant health and wellbeing

A H&V News webinar looking at the role of ventilation in creating healthy indoor environments will be taking place from 10am on 30 November.

Sponsored by Daikin UK, the H&V News Live event will focus on how organisations can developing their expertise in addressing indoor air quality in a more sustainable way.

It will look specifically about reducing the risk of substandard indoor air quality through the use of ventilation systems with a particular focus on balancing the energy efficiency of a building with occupant wellbeing.

IAQ is becoming an increasingly important issue for building engineers due to the amount of time individuals spend indoors working, learning, shopping, relaxing or unwinding at home, according to Daikin.

Speakers, including some of the company’s IAQ experts, will discuss how improvements in IAQ cab have a range of benefits for occupants beyond ensuring a constant supply of external air to limit the build-up of contaminants.  The panel will also look at the implications of ventilation for the overall quality of an indoor environment and how it impacts occupant wellbeing.

H&V News editor Andrew Gaved will be joined by Daikin’s Matteo Dall’Ombra and a number of other IAQ specialists to discuss the issue of ventilation, while also taking questions from the online audience.

The expert panel for the webinar includes:

Cliff Jones, applied commercial manager at Daikin Airconditioning

Peter Ruiter, director of filtration technology with AAF International

Dr Vina Kukadia of the University of Surrey’s Global Centre for Clean Air Research
