A Day in the Life of an HVAC Service Professional in Tennessee

Early Morning Start

The day begins at 6:30 AM when I check my schedule at Arnolds HVAC. Today’s route includes stops in Erin and Tennessee Ridge, with several preventative maintenance appointments scheduled.

First Call – Emergency Furnace Repair

Before I can start my planned maintenance rounds, dispatch calls with an emergency job in Cumberland City. An elderly couple’s heating system stopped working overnight. Winter mornings in Tennessee can be surprisingly cold, so these calls take priority.

Mid-Morning Maintenance

After resolving the furnace issue, I head to my scheduled appointments in Erin:

  • Annual AC system inspection for a local business
  • Filter replacement and ductwork check for a residential customer
  • New thermostat installation for a family who recently moved to the area

Afternoon Tasks

The afternoon takes me to Stewart for a complete air conditioning installation. These jobs typically require:

  • Removing old equipment
  • Installing new system components
  • Testing system efficiency
  • Explaining operation to homeowners

End of Day

Before heading back to base, I complete paperwork for each service call and prepare the van for tomorrow. Working at Arnolds HVAC means being ready for anything – from routine maintenance to emergency repairs across our service area.

Every day brings different challenges and opportunities to help our neighbors stay comfortable in their homes and businesses throughout the Tennessee River Valley region.
